Beyond the field record
A city spared. A price paid.
The immediate swarm is contained before reaching the bazaar. Four dwarves are lost; five travelers prepare to go deeper.
Places
The temple below
Explore the temple, Naentoth’s quarters, and the private cells: a battlefield of glass doors, marble, and burning carpet.
Bestiary
A colony contained
Gibber slugs cannot penetrate Ert’s Stone Skin. A very different creature, Terror, carries the rescued priest to safety.

Questions in the cache
The opened chest yields an inkless book and K’DLID wand. Naentoth’s mushroom offers a confirmed countermeasure. At this point the red-sapphire rod remains unexplained. October identifies its purpose.
Spells
The limits of restoration
Rectification can expel an invader, but cannot save every host. Stone Skin keeps Ert fighting through the temple’s siege.
The company
